In The Pool

It is official, we are finally in the Pool of Waiting Families!!!  It took us a year to get to this point from the time we started with Open Adoption & Family Services, but, we finally made it!!!  All the stress, and worry, and paperwork, and time it took to get to this point is finally behind us.  We can now sit back and wait patiently for a mom to read our profile and decide she wants to meet us.  OK, so I know I am not good at being patient but I am going to try...

I do have a tendency to be anxious and want things to move at a faster, more noticeable pace.  However, even on those days when I can't see the forest through the trees, I have complete faith that God is in control and has a special child waiting for us.  A child we will meet at just the right moment.

All of our hard work, all the worry about getting things just right, all of the sleepless nights and overtime are finally paying off.  What an amazing thing to finally see our profile published and ready for viewing by expectant parents!
