10 Months

Emma Love is 10 months old already!  I can't believe it, we have less than 2 months to prepare for her 1st birthday!  I am amazed everyday at the beautiful blessing God gave us in her.  She is my heart and soul.  When I look at her, I see such joy, love, innocence and potential.  She may grow up, but she will always be my sweet baby girl.  It has been a whirlwind of a month.  She is talking more than ever, she can say book and bird crystal clear and uses some sign language.  She wants to walk and is trying really hard at it, she has attempted a step all by herself twice, fell both times but she still tried.

She is learning to sleep in her crib for naps, some days are really easy, some are not, but she is doing much better at it now that she sleeps all night in her crib.  We attended her auntie Nellie's wedding and, even though it was past her bedtime, she did really well.  Being at that wedding made me think of the day Josh and I will give her away, and I cried a little.  I am honestly not sure how my parents have walked so many of their daughters down the aisle and given them away. It takes a lot of strength and trust to hand your baby girl over to the man she loves and ask him to now love and care for her as you have.   If I continue to think about it, I am going to cry again so, lets move on...

I am looking forward to Emma's First Birthday photo shoot!  I even made two tutus for the occasion, and I hope they fit her... It was a lot of fun, except for actually cutting the tulle, and I may have to make her a few more. :)

Mamas, Dadas, hold you babies tight, kiss them too much, hug them too much, read to them too much, tell them you love them too much, because they grow up too fast and, in the end, there is no such thing as loving your child too much.
